May temperatures range between 48 and 62°. From June through September, temperatures range from the high 50s to high 80s to the low to mid 70s. October averages between 47° and 59°.

Getting Around on Nantucket Island

Nantucket Town is nine miles from The Wauwinet. The inn provides complimentary jitney service 12 times daily from 9 AM to 11 PM, to and from downtown and to the Hy-Line ferry landings nearby.

Guests are also invited to use our complimentary mountain bikes for exploring the island, or select from The Wauwinet's variety of boats for expeditions on Nantucket Bay.

Taxi services are also available, along with several limousine services, as well as jeep and car rentals.
